Artist Bio
The advent of the digital SLR camera led Jack Welch to transition his love for photography from a casual hobby into becoming a serious photographer. Jack has attended several photographic workshops both in the US and in Europe. The opportunity to meet and wok with other photographers as a result of friendships created during those workshops has changed his photography from being primarily a transportation related photographer, into expanding into landscape photography. Maine and Ireland are among Jack’s favorite shooting locations.
Artist Statement
As a photographer and as an artist, I try to see the beauty in the everyday world we live in. It matters not if that beauty was created by God or by man. If I can capture that and I can share it, I feel that I have made a contribution that matters.
