Potter, herbalist and foraged art

Lesley is a potter working out of her home studio in Melrose, MA.  It is equipped with a wheel, slab roller, two kilns and a large work table. Lesley loves to use found objects from thrift shops and nature to create texture in her work.

Lesley's pottery is inspired by nature and spirituality. She aspires to create moments for the recipient with each piece. Be it holding a warm mug and tracing a design carved into the side or getting lost in a glaze drip on a bowl the intention is to bring the owner to the present moment even just for a split second. 

In addition to running her small business Serenity Sage, Lesley recently opened Paper & Clay LLC, an artisan co-op in Melrose, MA . The space is home to over 25 small artisan businesses and holds workshops, pop up markets, yoga classes and other events throughout the year.
