Nothing is more gratifying to her than CREATING. In 1993, she called Melrose, MA home, opening Hourglass Gift Gallery in 1999, closing in 2021 to take a different path during the Pandemic to do her own work and expand her own Jewelry brand and focus on her Encaustic Paintings. Lorrie DiCesare Studio, which was created in 1990. Lorrie's work is described as playful and artistically organic. You will see this through all Lorrie’s work as she creates in her own Melrose Studio, 169 W. Emerson St.  Lorrie’s education is in business, retail management, Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts and continued Art educational courses. Family, friends, making art, yoga, reading fiction, and nature walks are her biggest loves along with her love for Birds, (Hello Cards were created through her bird paintings)
