Heidi Reynolds is a creative experimenter whose work investigates the ephemerality of memory and connection. She works in mixed media and is passionate about engaging with the community through art. Heidi considers her ever-evolving visual vocabulary her first language and enjoys helping others hone their creative voice through teaching. She earned her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts where she focused on video, performance, and installation.
My work deals with our migrating response to memory and trauma, its lasting repercussions, and the subsequent examination of past, present, and future facets of our lives. I am fascinated by how our changing experience and morphing identity affect our perception and our sense of connection to others.
