Artist Bio

A graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Daniel Altshuler is a professional member of the National Sculpture Society and Guild of Boston Artists. From 1985 to 1998, he was assistant to the noted American sculptor and teacher, Walker Hancock. Daniel specializes in statuary, busts, and numismatics, and his work includes a bas-relief for the Chief Justice Warren E. Burger collection, a George Walker Bush Presidential Medal, and President Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter busts for the Carter Presidential Library.
